When we decided to get married in my hometown, I immediately knew that I wanted to stay true to my country roots with a barn wedding. I have an affinity to flowers and decided to tackle them myself, knowing that I could get more bang for my buck and use some beautiful stems on my small budget. The flowers arrived three days before the wedding and we unpacked and prepped in water. The next day I recruited my mom and aunt to assist with putting the arrangements together. It was a great time and the arrangements turned out STUNNING. I will note that I ordered hydrangea;s as well as white roses and lemon leaf from Sam's club to round out the arrangements and fill in some space.
