I am a DIY junkie and our wedding was no exception. From hand-tracing calligraphy for our invitations to making all of our decorations, I loved pouring my heart into each detail of our special day. But my absolute favorite "DIY" component of our wedding was the florals. Two days before the wedding I spent the morning arranging flowers with family. Then the day before the wedding, after our rehearsal but before the dinner, my bridesmaids and I actually each made our own bouquets which were so unique and special! I had absolutely no experience with working with flowers before the wedding. It definitely requires a time commitment and a bit of risk to make your own flowers, but the memories I made doing this with my family and friends is priceless.
